NIT Patna Announces Recruitment 2014 for the post of Officer on Special Duty and Stenographer Posted: 17 May 2014 05:42 AM PDT The National Institute of Technology Patna (NIT Patna), formerly Bihar School of Engineering and Bihar College of Engineering, is a public engineering institution located in Patna in the Indian state of Bihar. It was renamed to NIT Patna, by the Government of India on January 28, 2004. It is an autonomous institute functions directly under Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. National Institute of Technology (NIT) Patna (under the Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India) intends to appoint Two (02) post of Officer on Special Duty and One (01) post Stenographer on contract basis initially for one year which can be extended further depending upon their performance. The last date for receipt of applications is 26th May 2014. Name of Post No of Posts Age Limit Scale of Pay Officer on Special Duty 2 Not exceeding 35 Years Rs.45000/- Per Month Stenographer 1 Below 27 Years Rs.15000/- Per Month Educational Qualifications: Officer on Special Duty - (1) Essential- Masters’ degree in any discipline with at least 55% marks or its equivalent Grade ‘B’ in the UGC 7 point scale from a recognized University / Institute with excellent academic record (2) Desirable- Qualification in area of Management / Engineering / Law / Commerce. Experience in handling computerized administration / legal / financial / establish matters / Purchase and Chartered Accountant or Cost Accountant degree. Stenographer - (1) Essential- Matriculation +2 (12th standard) pass or equivalent from a recognized Board or University. Minimum speed in short hand 80 w.p.m. in Stenography. (2) Desirable- Proficiency in Computer; Word processing and spread sheet with advance skills.
