The University is a non-affiliating; teaching cum research University engaged in education, research, product innovation and extension work in Applied Sciences, Engineering and Management and is committed to foster excellence.

Delhi Technological University (DTU) invites application for recruitment 2014 of Assistant Professor in various Disciplines on Contract Basis. Eligible Candidates are required to submit prescribed format of application on or before 20th May 2014.

Qualifications:

For Engineering Disciplines -

(1) Essential – B.E. / B.Tech and M.E. / M.Tech in relevant branch with 1st Class or equivalent either in B.E. / B.Tech or M.E. / M.Tech from a recognised University.
(2) Desirable – Ph.D in relevant discipline and/or published research papers in journals of high repute is desirable.

For Applied Sciences -

(1) Good academic record with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade at the Master’s degree in the relevant subject from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
(2) Should have passed the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET.
(3) Holders of Ph.D. degree shall be exempted from NET/SLET/SET.
(4) NET/SLET/SET shall also not be required for such Masters Programmes in disciplines for which NET/SLET/SET is not conducted.
(5) Desirable – Ph.D in relevant discipline and/or published research papers in journals of high repute is desirable

Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (CERC), a key regulator of power sector in India, is a statutory body functioning with quasi-judicial status under sec – 76 of the Electricity Act 2003. CERC was initially constituted on 24 July 1998 under the Ministry of Power's Electricity Regulatory Commissions Act, 1998 for rationalization of electricity tariffs, transparent policies regarding subsidies, promotion of efficient and environmentally benign policies, and for matters connected Electricity Tariff regulation.
