The Heavy Alloy Penetrator Project (HAPP) is an Indian defence establishment operated by the Ordnance Factories Board. Headquartered at Kolkata, under the overall charge of Ministry of Defence, Government of India the factory is located about 25 kilometres from the main city of Tiruchirappalli.

The factory was initially established in the late 1980s as a unit of Defence Research and Development Organization in collaboration with other government defence agencies and some foreign partners.

Educational Qualifications:

The candidate should posses National Council of Trades for Vocational Training (NCTVT). Certificates in the relevant trade failing which by ITI or equivalent Diploma / Certificate holder. National Apprenticeship Certificate and National Trade Certificates issued by NCVT in the relevant trade will only be accepted as essential qualification. Degree and Diploma in Engineering cannot be accepted as qualification to Semi Skilled Posts.

Selection Process:

There will be Written Test of 100 marks and Trade Test (Practical). Written test shall be fully objective type and OMR based, The Trade test (Practical) [Language for Written Test / Trade Test - Hindi/ English/ Tamil].

Software Technology Parks of India (STPI) is a government agency in India, established in 1991 under the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology that manages the Software Technology Park scheme. It is an export oriented scheme for the development and export of computer software, including export of professional services. The STP Scheme provides various benefits to the registered units, which include 100% foreign equity, tax incentives, duty-free import, duty-free indigenous procurement, CST reimbursement, DTA entitlement, deemed export etc.

Software Technology Parks of India (STPI) is providing Statutory Services to the exporters under STP/EHTP scheme and also extending infrastructural facilities including High Speed Internet and IPLC links. STPI at present has 53 centers at different locations in the country.
