Mizoram Public Service Commission invites application for 67 Vacancies for the post of Primary School Teacher in the School Education Department. The last date for receipt of application is 13th June 2014. Name of Post No of Vacancies Age Limit Scale of Pay Primary School Teacher 67 (3% of 169 identified posts for direct recruitment quota) 18 to 35 Years as on 13/06/2014 (Age Relaxation – 05 Years for SC/ST) PB-2, RS. 9300 – 34,800 + GP 42,00 /-pm Educational Qualifications: (1) HSSLC with at least 50% marks or Graduate and above with Diploma in Elementary Education with a duration of not less than 2 years form recognized university and approved by NCTE (OR) HSSLC with at least 50% marks or Grade with 2 years D.Ed. (Special Education) recognized by the RCI. (2) Passed in Teacher Eligibility Test (TET). (3) Working Knowledge of Mizo Language at least Middle School Standard. (4) For Nepali / Gorkha Primary School the candidates should possess Nepali as one of the subjects either in HSLC or HSSCL level. (5) Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe/Physically Handicapped / OBC shall be allowed relaxation up to 5% in the qualifying Marks. Application Fee: Candidates have to pay Rs.210/- for all and Rs. 160/- for SC/ ST through IPO (uncrossed) in favor of Secretary, Mizoram Public Service Commission or by depositing into the Treasury Challan under Revenue Head- 0051-PSC, 102-State PSC.
