Educational Qualification:

ITI Candidates: Should have a pass certificate of 18/24 months course in "Electrician/Electronics/Electronic Mechanic" trade from Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) recognized by Government of Karnataka.
ITC Candidates: Should have passed 10th Standard Examination and should have a pass certificate of THREE YEARS "Lineman trade"/"Electrician trade" (ITC) imparted by the Industrial Training Institutes of KEB/KPTCL.

Selection Criteria:

Candidate will be selected firmly on merit, based on the marks secured in the Qualifying Examination only. Eligible candidates will be called for Endurance Test in the ratio of 1:5. Medical Examination will be conducted from the competent Medical officer during the endurance test and the candidate should have satisfactory physical fitness.

The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), under the Ministry of Civil Aviation is the Indian governmental regulatory body for Civil Aviation. The DGCA investigates aviation accidents and incidents. The Government of India is planning to replace the organisation with a Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), modelled on the lines of the American Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

DGCA invites application for Recruitment 2014 for 29posts of Senior Flight Operations Inspector (Aeroplane) and Flight Operations Inspector (Aeroplane).

Educational Qualification:

Senior Flight Operations Inspector
(i) Should have an Airline Transport Pilot's License issued by DGCA India with current Pilot-in-Command rating on civil air transport aircraft.
(ii) Should have an Open rating for all types of aeroplanes having all-up-weight not exceeding 5,700 kgs.
(iii) Total experience of not less than 6,000 hours and not less than 5,000 hours as Pilot-in-Command on air transport aircraft.
(iv) Accident free record for last 5 years attributable to his proficiency Flight Operations Inspector.

Flight Operations Inspector
(i) Should have an Airline Transport Pilot's License issued by DGCA India with current Pilot-in-Command rating on civil air transport aircraft.
(ii) Total experience of not less than 5,000 hours and not less than 2,000 hours as Pilot-in-Command on civil air transport aircraft
(iii) Accident free record for last 5 years attributable to his proficiency.
NOTE: Candidates beyond the age of 65 years or those medically unfit may also be considered against fixed remuneration posts provided they have held ATP License Issued by DGCA with a PIC rating on civil AT aircraft.
